Well, now that it's been almost a month, I guess I should update you guys about my spring break!
It was amazingly great.
:)
Couldn't have been any better.
I drove up on Friday and stayed the night at Katrina's apartment in Orem.
We stayed up till about 2-2:30 hanging out with her friends :)
Then the next morning, I texted my mom about 9 am and told her I was leaving.
I left Katrina's about 10, and drove the hour to Bountiful.
My parents were staying at my grandpa's house for the weekend, which is also where I was staying.
I knocked on the door, my dad answered, and was completely stunned.
I wasn't supposed to get there till around 9 that night!
It was fun to see my parents' surprised faces.
We went to Tucano's for lunch to celebrate Spencer's (my brother) new job.
After that, Thomas and Keith came over to my grandpa's house to meet my parents.
I assume it went well...haha they say they like him and Spencer says he's not weird, so that's good!!!
We spent a lot of time at Keith's house that week.
Sunday
We went to church, Thomas gave a talk and taught sunday school.
That night we went to my grandpa's so I could change and Katrina's and Amber's families were there!
So we stayed and talked with them and Thomas got to know their families!
Monday
We went to the mall to get a birthday present for Thomas' mom.
Thomas' parents, Bob and Jamie, took us out to dinner at Happy Hashi.
It was super good!!!!
It was a Japanese restaurant where they cook your food right in front of you.
I had steak and chicken :)
SO GOOD!!!!
Since it was Jamie's birthday, the chef took the onion and took apart the pieces and stacked them on top of each other to make it look like a birthday cake, put oil inside of it and lit it on fire.
It was so cool!!
I had fun getting to talk to his parents over dinner and getting to know them.
I got hugs from both his mom AND dad when we were leaving!! (YAY!)
Tuesday
I think it was this day we went over to my aunt Stacey's house and had dinner with her family.
Bevan's family was there too. (They were also staying at my grandpa's house that week.)
Yummy dinner!!
Then we played Bang!
Wednesday
We went to see Layton High's musical Curtains.
Very good show and incredibly well done.
It made me so excited to start doing theatre again.
Thursday
I made dinner for Keith's family.
We went to a meeting for Primerica (where Thomas works)
Then we went to one of Thomas' friend Brandi's house to watch her open her mission call!
She's going to the Rancho/Cucamonga California mission Spanish speaking!
SO excited for her!!
Funny story:
While we were at the Primerica meeting, this little boy, who's parents also work there, told Thomas he needed to ask him something.
So Thomas goes back so he can ask him.
I lean over to Keith and say "how much do you want to be it's about me?"
Thomas comes back and tells us what the boy said.
Boy: "Are you married to her?"
Thomas: "No."
Boy: "Are you getting ready to get married?"
Thomas: "No."
Boy: "Then why is your arm around her!?"
Thomas: "Cause I like her!"
I thought this was hilarious :)
Friday
I honestly don't remember what we did this day hahaha.
Saturday
We went to a Primerica meeting.
Then we went out to lunch at Village Inn.
After that we went ice skating!
While we were ice skating I pass this lady, look back at her, and realize it's this lady who was my young women's leader when I was a beehive!!!!
We both do a double take then scream, hug, and spend the rest of the time that we're there talking and catching up.
TOTALLY made my day to see her!
She moved to Utah about 5 years ago and I haven't seen her since she moved!
Thomas and I went back to Keith's house and took a nap on the couch.
That night, we went on a double date with Willis and his girlfriend Sydney.
(Not his girlfriend anymore.)
We went to Noodles and Co. for dinner
(Which I just found out they opened 2 in Boise!!!! Super super freaking stoked!!!)
Then we went to a comedy club.
Super funny and a great date night :)
Thomas and I went back to Keith's house after and pretty much cuddled till it was time for me to go back to my grandpa's house.
When he was dropping me off, we didn't want to let each other go.
We practically stood on the driveway for about 15 minutes hugging.
I ended up crying too.
After I went inside I completely started bawling cause I didn't want to leave Thomas.
That night I also found out that I got accepted to the University of Utah!
During the week we also watched Wreck it Ralph and Harry Potter 7, parts 1 and 2, though I don't remember what days those were.

All in all, it was an amazing week.
One I never wanted to end.
I can't wait till I get to move to Utah and see Thomas all the time!!
